Matlock Wolds

The Wolds above Matlock is a hugely important area of land which acts as a natural flood defence for the town. It has a wide diversity of ecology and the report commissioned by WAG clearly demonstrates how wrong others have viewed this aspect of it in the past and how desk based studies (also known as a “can’t be bothered to go there report”) are of so little importance.
